Questions
Where does the rent go?
Straight into your own Stripe account. You connect it once (or open one in a few minutes), and each renter’s card or Direct Debit payments land there. Nimbosoft never holds your rent and takes no cut of it.
Some of my renters pay by bank transfer or cash. Is that OK?
Yes. Mark them as “pays me directly”. Their rent still falls due each month, they still get reminders if it’s late, and you tick it off when it arrives. You can move them to automatic payments later with one email.
What gate do I need?
Any keypad you already have. Nimbo Yard gives every renter their own code and keeps a short list of codes to add or take off. If you have a 4G/GSM gate opener, it writes the text message for you. With a Shelly smart relay, renters open the gate from their phone, and only when they’re paid up.
Do I have to cut people off automatically?
No. Reminders, the day the code stops, and any late fee are your choice. Change the days, or switch the code stop off completely.
I already have renters in a spreadsheet or notebook.
Upload the spreadsheet, or a photo of the notebook or your yard plan. AI reads it and lays out your units and renters for you to check and tick. Nothing is saved until you say so.
Is there an app to download?
Yes, it installs straight from the browser on a Windows PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android phone, with no app store needed. Your renters can save their page to their home screen in the same way.
Is there a free trial?
No. It’s £39 a month per yard, paid by card before you start, and you can cancel any time. There’s no setup fee and no contract.
What does the renter sign?
A plain-English storage agreement filled in with their unit, rent and your notice period. Use the standard one, write your own, or let AI draft wording from your rules. It’s a starting point: check it suits your yard.
Can I run more than one yard?
Yes. Each yard has its own map, booking page, gate and rules. It’s £39 a month for each yard.
